New York Boat Tour!

New York, one of my favourite cities in the world! I swear I could live there for years and still not have enough time to see/eat/do all the things I want! So for anyone who’ either going to or thinking about going to New York but only has a little time, I’ve found this to be the best way to get the grand tour :)

Take a boat trip!

They are numerous options available, everything from the quick 75mins Circle line half tour to extravagant dinner cruises!
Because I wanted to see as much as possible in as little time possible, I chose the Landmark Cruise (Semi Circle) which was perfect! The tour guide gave us lots of history and information about this fascinating city, discussing all the historical landmarks, skyscrapers and sights
We started from Midtown (Pier 83) and went all around the south of New York past the Financial district, under the 2 iconic bridges all the way up to the UN building before circling again…That’s twice as many opportunities for pictures :)

Some of the highlights were;

Empire State Building
Erie Lackawanna Pier
Chelsea Pier
New Jersey Gold Coast
World Financial Center
Ellis Island
The Battery
Statue of Liberty
Governors Island
The Battery Maritime Building
South Street Seaport
Brooklyn Bridge
Manhattan Bridge
Chrysler Building
United Nations

You can see that it was really cold that day especially with the wind (my hair was literally frozen after!) so if it’s an option I highly recommend doing it in warmer weather!!!
