Corporate Stays Montreal: A review of my home away from home!

I’ve mentioned a number of times that where you stay can make or break a vacation (or at least staying at the right place can greatly improve a holiday!). This is even more true for us in our hometown of Montreal, Canada which we visit at least twice a year.  In the past we would usually stay with family but since we now have a baby we preferred having our own space.

For the last 2 summers we’ve planned our holidays around the Montreal Jazz Festival (the largest in the world). It’s hosted in the Quartier International of downtown.  When looking for a place to stay we made a list of what we wanted in a place; walking distance to the jazz festival, shopping and metro system, a separate bedroom for when Julian needed to take his naps, a full kitchen, washer and dryer to do laundry as we were going to be there for 2-3 weeks, a balcony and an amazing view. Essentially we needed a full apartment.

A friend recommended we check out CorporateStays, an executive housing solution he had used for some of his clients when visiting Montreal… we did, and it was the best decision we made!

Super friendly and helpful staff, they had a number of different buildings and accommodation options spread around the city (and other cities too, check out the link here.

We decided on renting a 1-bedroom condo at the V Montreal for the last 2 years, which is located just across the street from the Complexe Desjardins (a medium sized mall with everything we needed; groceries, pharmacy, food court and access to the famous Montreal underground city and metro system). What’s even better is that it wasjust 1 street away from the Jazz Festival, in the heart of downtown Montreal and a 5-10mins walk to almost anywhere downtown; the festival, the shopping, the restaurants and Old Montreal.

The building is stunning and has 24/7 security and key cards for accessing both the front door and elevator. There’ a fantastic pool, a full gym and even a concierge service!

The apartment was gorgeous! It was modern with a full kitchen, walk-in closet and floor to ceiling windows with a perfect view of the city. The balcony was facing the mountain and the Jazz Festival had a stage in the park across the street! We enjoyed beautiful sunset views and concerts every evening from our balcony!

And I loved waking up every morning to the full view of the city bustling to life.

My sister in law lent us a baby walker for Julian and he absolutely loved it! He was so excited, he didn’t want to miss a thing – he even wanted to be part of the apartment photoshoot!

If you’re ever in Montreal for the Jazz Festival or any other time, I’d highly recommend CorporateStays.com, I’ve never been disappointed in the last 2 years I've been staying there!
